Editing content
Restore something you deleted
Find a deleted page, label or file in the trash, restore it, or delete it for good.
Nothing you delete is gone at once. Pages, labels and files go to the trash first. This guide shows how to get one back.
After reading this guide, you will know:
- Where deleted things wait.
- How to restore one.
- How to delete one for good.
- How long the trash keeps things.
1. Open the trash
Choose Trash in the sidebar, under Tools. If it is empty, the page says so.
The list shows each item’s title, its type (a page, a label or a file) and when it was deleted, newest first. The Kind filter shows one sort at a time. An item that other content still uses says so beneath its title, for example “Referenced by 2 other records”.
2. Restore an item
Choose Restore on its row. It comes back where it was, with its address.
3. Delete for good
Choose Delete on its row. Nibble asks you to confirm with Delete for good.
Caution
Deleting for good cannot be undone.
